A “practitioner” is a dentist's profile in a location. A dentist can have multiple profiles if they work in multiple locations; they will have one profile per location in which they work. The profiles include all the dentist's business information such as ABN and provider number, as well as their location information, such as MYOB/Xero accounts and merchant ID.
An “active practitioner” is a dentist which is actively receiving money. You can have many inactive practitioners in Core Practice, but it is only considered “active” once that dentist starts collecting money. This means that you can create a practitioner profile for each of your dentists in each of your locations, but you won't have to pay for the practitioner profiles which are not actively receiving money.
Once you’re ready to open your third practice, give us a call and we’ll work on getting you a better deal.
A dedicated server is a configuration that you can request for peace of mind. It means that your group will be the only one using that server, and no one else will be able to access it other than your staff.
We have three levels of support available to you:
This is an optional extra that ensures you receive a response from our technical team within 2 hours of sending a support request or placing a support call.
A custom domain is an optional extra which allows you to choose the URL (or website address) for your Core Practice database. This is useful because it will make it easier to remember your website address and make it easier for you to access it.
Gone are the days of buying licences and limiting the number of computers using your software. You won’t have to purchase licences in order for you to use Core Practice, so you can have it open on as many computers or devices as you please.
There may be a setup and data migration fee, but that varies on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for a quote on your data migration.
There are no lock in contracts for your subscription with Core Practice. If you are unhappy with our software, you can end your subscription at any time, with nothing to pay.
You own the data which is stored in your servers. If you decide to end your subscription with Core Practice, we can export and return your data to you, ready to be imported into another system.
Your data’s security is one of our main concerns. It’s transported by industry standard, enterprise-level AES-256 encrypted channels. Our datacentres employ state-of-the-art security measures to ensure that your data is inaccessible to intruders. We also utilise a comprehensive disaster recovery plan, including multiple levels of data redundancy and automatic backups which help to minimise the amount of data lost after having experienced a disaster. Because Core Practice is an online software, it will run on any device with a modern browser and an internet connection; a Mac, PC, tablet or even a smartphone. The only requirement is that your main computer is a PC, so that we can install the software to allow you to make electronic HICAPS claims.
